I was raised in the "Jewel of The Prairie" -- Grinnell, Iowa. My first theatrical experience was the role of Juror in Agatha Christie's A Witness For The Prosecution. My only job was to sit onstage for two hours without any lines, but after that, I was hooked! I've been performing and producing theatre educationally, regionally, and for enjoyment ever since.
I received a B.F.A. Musical Theatre degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. During my collegiate career I was able to attend, and become a proud alumni of the National Musical Theatre Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center in Waterford, Connecticut. At the O'Neill I learned the importance of "Risk. Fail. Risk again." the impact theatre can have on the world, and how to create art out of nothing. The final project at NMTI was to create a full-length, fully devised show with the 46 person company based off the topic of "The Greeks". Thus, Born of a Myth was created and my passion for devising theatre and working on contemporary works was ignited.
In 2018 -- I relocated to New York City! Since my arrival I've had opportunities to originate four roles, and perform in venues such as: 54 Below, SOPAC, The Green Room 42, BBPAC of Teaneck, Dixon Place, UNDER St. Marks, and Don't Tell Mama. I also began working with my friends to produce Thousand Faced Theatre Company. (Visit for more info!). I currently study with Lindsay Mendez & Ryan Scott Oliver's Actor Therapy. When I'm not doing theatre I'm cuddling my cat, watching Game of Thrones, and playing Pokemon.
